Upgrade from smaller wheels

Due to rough surfaces and cracks in my food prep area, I decided to upgrade the stock wheels on my heavy ceramic grill to a larger diameter. A set of 4 of these worked great—rolls easy and supported heavy weight with slight shock absorption. Two drawbacks: 1) a locking wheel option was not offered, and 2) the stud base has a very thin hexagon plate (not a nut) to tighten it into the mount. As the stud is tightened and getting closer to the mount surface, most standard-width will no longer fit in the narrow gap for the final turns.

good quality

I crushed one of the wheels on a dolly and bought this as a replacement. It's actually a much better wheel than the original, I'm tempted to replace the other wheel as well.

Terrible quality

The stems on these casters were out of tolerance and would not thread onto a 1/2 13 nut. I had to chase the threads with a die on both casters I ordered. They also do not have metal sleeves in the actual wheels so the wheels will to be replaced very soon after install. I would not recommend these casters to anyone that plans to actually use them.

Good replacement wheel for leaf blower !

I bought an MTD leaf blower from our neighbor a few years ago aS she was moving and it was missing one of the front wheels. So I finally found this one and put it on. It’s a good fit but you will have to go to your local hardware store and get 1/2“ x 13 nut. And it’s much cheaper than spending $44 for an actual MTD wheel! The only thing is the old wheel sets about a quarter of an inch off the ground but when you’re running on your grass it’ll still make it easier to navigate the ruts

Good quality, but no mounting hardware included.

These are very good quality casters, far superior to the junk casters that came with my Lowe's hand truck (and broke, under light use). My only complaint is that there is no mounting hardware included (not evern a nut on the stem). Thus, I must now return to Lowe's (which does not carry casters to replace the junk ones that come on the hand trucks that they sell) to buy two nuts to mount these casters on the hand truck which I purchased from Lowe's (with junk casters).

Which Nut fits ???

Terrific wheels. They don't come with the nut to fasten the wheel to the Hand truck (Dolly) had to take the wheel inside Home Depot and search for the correct nut. That in itself can make you NUTS ????

Wheels are fine. They should include nuts and washers but the wheels themselves work well.

Threads are bad!!

The thread was too tight for the nuts, have to tap with 1/2" - 13nc die to make it work. Overall the wheel looks well built.
