Sits as flush as can be to the shower floor
I moved into a home about 2 years ago and I threw out the original drain cover because it grossed me out since it wasn't me that used it. I bought a horrible drain cover replacement that protruded out of the shower floor and I kept it there for almost 2 years just being uncomfortable stepping into and maneuvering self in the shower. I finally did more research and found the ShowerShroom. I was familiar with TubShroom because I have used that many times in the past in my previous home. I thought this can't be that bad. AND it isn't that bad actually. The drain sits almost flush to the shower floor so nothing is protruding where you step on it and feel like you stepped on a lego piece. The only downside is that it shifts a bit but eh.. what are you gonna do. Do I regret throwing out the original shower drain? Only a tiny bit because I found this as a replacement instead and its cleaner by default because it is new. This is the second time I purchased this product because the cleaner through out the center piece recently and this is the replacement. Tip: Measure the circumference of your shower drain and measure how tall the product truly is if it were to cover most of the drain.

It really works, just doesn't stay in place
This hair catcher works well in my standup shower and, for a drain, looks good too. Only gripe is that there is no way to "lock" or clip it in position. The rubber ring helps but is easy to dislodge with the brush of your foot—There is no "suction", it just floats over the drain hole. Not a huge issue, but negates the purpose of the catcher if you aren't paying attention to your feet. Not sure why it wasn't designed similarly to the "egg" product for a bathtub (that little device is perfect).

It just works
After yet another drain cleaning even though I try to keep all my hair from even hitting the tub, I bought one of these. I’ve been using the tub shroom with success, but now a shower version? Let me tell you, I had no idea how much hair I was missing that was trying to go down the drain. This thing just works. Every time. I don’t know how long it will last before needing to be replaced, but if you don’t like drain cleaning, you can’t afford NOT to have one of these.

Works Well, Looks Great, Easy to Clean
I bought this after upgrading my bathroom from a tub to a walk-in shower. I needed this larger size version for the new, larger drain. While it doesn’t capture quite as much hair as the original tubshroom, it does a decent job, and is easier to clean than the old tubshroom. It perfectly fits the larger drain and stays in place, regardless of how strongly I run the shower. Oh, and It doesn’t impede the water flow at all. Other drain solutions created some puddling around the shower drain.

Works well capturing my girlfriends hair. The only issue I have is there’s a little play so it can get dislodged. Doesn’t happen to often though so I’m happy with the item. Also install is just popping it in which is nice

Good buy
Shopped around and have had experience with other products. This one works really well. Catches hair and gunk effectively. Not sure how it works, but even after several weeks of use and no cleaning, there was no reduction in water drainage rate. You do need to be able to get the original drain cover off. Product seats well and stays in place. No signs of rust as of yet.

Works great, so easy
I used the Tub Shroom for years but it didn't fit in my shower. I'm so glad I finally found this product. Not sure that it grabs every hair as it claims to, but it sure seems like it does.

Catches more than I want to clean
Great product. Hair makes me gag, so its always kinda gross cleaning it out, but great that it's not going down my drain!

It works but it does move around
I initially bought it for the kids bathtub but this drain cover is so large that it was hitting the edge of the tub and would not fit. So we decided to use it in a stand up shower. Easy to install. Just remove the old drain cover and put this on top. No screws to screw in. The problem is because there are no screws to hold it in place it moves around. The edge is rubber so it does not move around a lot but it can shift and then you just have an open whole. So just be aware of that. There is not way to secure it. But it is easy to clean.

Amazing hair strainer
Fits well in the shower, easy to remove and clean. Have used it for a month, very easy to remove hair the main drain is very clean and hair free. Have recommended to all my friends as it even collects short hairs as well.

Works great
Using in our stand up shower. Am slightly horrified realizing how much hair was going down the drain before I started using this! Catches lots, and very easy to empty. Keeps a small chore easy and quick to do effectively… that’s my kind of product! Recommend.

Best hair catcher I’ve ever used
I have tried a lot of different hair catcher before. The plastic one were mouldy easily after a while. Most of them leaves the hair on top which will be gross if you don’t clean up everyday. This one is easy to clean while most of the hair falls into the middle part which is not visible and the bathroom remain clean!
