Putting these on a suction line did absolutely nothing beyond reading the ambient temperature.

Won't do the job if you are calculating superheat!

This device was tried in a UEI muiltimeter along with another cheaper brand and also compared to a Feildpiece HVAC gauge set temp clamp, and this was 5 degrees off. Won't do the job if you are calculating superheat!

Cheaply made...

Really disappointed in this product. The measurements were fairly accurate, within 1-2 degrees of my Fieldpiece clamps, but the clamp broke after only 3 uses. Didn't use it on any copper larger that 5/8" and it snapped 9th of the jaws right off on day 2. I'm an HVAC service tech, so I expect it to work regardless of manufacturer... Sticking to higher dollar pieces for durability.
