Craft Distiller Beware. I bought three of these for each of the ranges I will be producing alcohol at and all three sank to the bottom of the cylinder. I expected the 75-95% one to do just that on the lower proof however when I put it in 180 proof right off the still it once again sunk. However the cheap $15 model you get at your local craft brew supply shop worked fine. However as a craft distiller the TTB does not recognize the cheap hydrometer it has to be certified and traceable. These would not work so I cannot count on them to adjust proof, measure proof and accurately state proof on my monthly reporting. I am happy that I purchased these through Amazon as the return process was simple. However if I were Amazon I would stop selling these as they are out shipping to me and from me. That's not good for business as Amazon is in the negative on this purchase of three Hydrometers.
