Works with older SmartCut if you push down REALLY hard

The media could not be loaded. I have Model #8812 SmartCut that wants a #8813RB replacement, which are nowhere to be found. Some reviews said this #8913RB works fine in my cutter, but after installing, the blade wouldn't lower enough to cut paper. It was pretty irritating until I finally pushed down hard enough to hear a loud click. Then it would cut just fine. But every time I have to push down until it goes "bam", then it will cut. I can't believe Swingline wouldn't continue to support a well-made cutter that will last many years. But I guess this will do the job.

Fits my paper cutter perfectly.

My 9-year-old paper cutter calls for a 8813RB cartridge. This 8913RB is actually the same cartridge. Believe me, this style of cutter is much easier to use than t he old fashioned guillotine-style paper cutters.

Great replacement blades

I always get nervous about buying replacement blades that they won't fit properly, however these blades fit and work perfectly in my swingline paper cutter. The blades also fit in the "extra" blade compartment on the paper cutter.
