not as accurate as I would want...or need

Ice still forms at 32F. and water boils at 212F. You adjust for one with this thermometer and the other reading is off.

I do not suggest this product.

This was the cheapest option and for good reason. You typically get what you pay for but in this cases the product fell apart on first use and was useless.

Much smaller than expected

Very tiny. I got it for my wife to use when baking. It is way too small for that. So I bought her a larger one, paying attention to the description better, and I kept this one for myself for my hydroponics setup.
