Outstanding
I added a rear camera to my wife's jeep in the bumper so I needed something to move my 33" tire up. Little did I know this carrier was going to solve problems I didn't know I had. Absolutely fantastic! I don't much care for the 3rd brake light mounting idea, but since I live in a state that still respects individual responsibility and values liberty over tyranny; I just decided not to put it back on.

Peace of mind!
Added this after installation of the Teraflex hinge mount on my wife's 2012. Can you reuse the original tire mount with that? Yeah, you can, but the original is a flimsy thin piece of cast aluminum that doesn't get any stronger after you make the recommended cut to it. A 35" spare is HEAVY, and having that fail going down the highway could kill someone. This is the solution, and it works perfectly.

Not so easy install!
They make this install sound so easy. Look, it’s not bad, but I was expecting…easy as described. I had to replace my factory holder because the threads stripped and you can’t replace the stud bolts on the factory holder. So, I expected this TeraFlex holder to have the ability to replace the studs (if needed) - no way! They don’t press into place and have a locking pattern, they literally press into place - you can never replace them! Btw: you kind of need a small press (one of the not so easy things). I have the factory Rubicon 31/32” tires. The bottom or lowest setting is fine but please note you need to trim/cut your factory tire stoppers or the tire won’t rest properly - no install video I saw/found mentioned it. If you don’t trim them, the center round slider won’t go deep enough and would be dangerous (the second, not so easy). If you didn’t really notice there is no break light in most of the pictures. This is because it does not come with one. They expect you to modify the factory break light and install it within the rim of the tire - ugly! Good thing I had already purchased one of those round brake lights that go begging the tire. Last thing, small but for the price I expected it. They call for thread locker but they do not supply the small amount needed. I unfortunately didn’t have any laying around so I’ll probably need to pull stuff back off - argh!

works great, but rusts like crazy
This is my second one. The first one I stripped of rust and coated with rust converter and repainted twice. So yeah, it works great, but it will rust out.

Significant improvement in steering/driving.
Installed on a 2017 JKU Sahara with 3” BDS lift. These correction brackets made a huge difference driving around town. If ground clearance is not a major issue (lost 2” clearance) then this is a must for lifted JKUs. With limited hand tools and the fact I have not worked on a major project in a while, it took me couple of hours. I didn’t have help so used ratchet tie down straps to pull the front axle to align the holes to install new bolts. I didn’t have to cut any bolts. Removing the heat shield that covered the backside of the upper control arm bolts took the most amount of time due to very limited space. I installed the heat shield back with one screw and will use a metal tie straps to secure. In a nutshell, this install is the right answer to my frustration with the drivability around town after the 3” lift and installation of 35” tires. Highly recommend this bracket!

The exact solution for oversized tires with offset wheels!!!
High quality and was the exact solution to my spare tire issue. I have 34" tires on Fuel Beast wheels. The wheels are offset and stick out an inch or two. The tire/wheel was two large for the stock tire mount and would hit the bumper. I tried the Smity Built relocation bracket which raised the tire height but also made my spare stick out 3 inches. My wheels being offset in addition to the additional 3 inches made the wheel stick out really far and look dumb! This mount being adjustable allowed me to fit my spare up and in tight to my tailgate! It wasn't hard to mount myself. It is really high quality and is a great option if you don't want to spend the cash for a new bumper with the oversized wheel mount. I did also bought and installed the brake light extension which works great, but the brake light mount is not as rigid as the OEM and will flex when hitting bumps.

Great upgrade after OEM failed with new tire wheel
This was a great upgrade after OEM unit began to show stress cracks carrying larger tire/wheel combo. holds the tire closer to the tailgate (right up against the MORYDE brackets) so less shaking and less stress on the carrier/tailgate. It certainly feels more solid and well built. Very pleased, would by again - but I'm pretty sure I won't have to!

This is very easy to install and it is fully adjustable to fit your tire size. The only thing to note about installation is you will need to press the wheel mounting studs into the bracket per your tire size. Con: With the aftermarket wheel I have the 3rd brake light bracket won't work. I fabricated a new mount for my 3rd brake light that worked out just fine.
