Crimps easily, the size 5 is very lightweight. We bought these for a project that doesn't involve fishing, so this is more for your information than it is a review of the product. :)

Not #7, 7mm

It says it is Size 7, which should be about 2.54mm dia, but it actually 7mm in dia? Not what I needed. I can use it for other things but still need some #7.

good alternative for states that do not allow the use of lead

Tested POSITIVE for LEAD!!!!

Warning! These Gremlin Green tin split shot weights tested positive for lead! I used a lead tester kit bought here on Amazon and it lit up bright red on the first 3 shots I tested. I tested them again just to make sure and had the same 'lead positive' results. Either these weights have been cross contaminated with lead or they are filling them with an amalgam of lead. Upon further research it turns out this company 'Water Gremlin' has been fined numerous times for having a very contaminated factory so perhaps their quality control is not good. Either way, it's not worth it to me. I bought these so-called 'lead free' weights so my 8 year old could go fishing with his friends. I would rather him not handle real lead fishing weight at his age since lead residue on his fingers can easily be ingested. I will try to find another brand of tin weights or try Tungsten. Not recommended if you want to go 100% lead free.

Only 24 sinkers in pouch

Photo for this product showed 48 sinkers in pouch, product description said 56, but what was actually sent was a pouch of 24.
