bad connector and bad instructions

not happy about having to run a wire from the converter box back by the tail lights all the way to the battery. I could not find a way through the firewall by the passenger or driver seat. I was not willing to hang the wire below the car and bring it up to the battery that way. The way the company should have had and the instructions was to have a small spade connector and then insert it in the little fuse box back on the left side of the cargo compartment. I ground/filed about 50% of the with from a male spade connector. The box can get its 12 volts from that fuse box no problem. The other problem I had was one of the pins in the T connector had a substantial hanging Chad kind of a burr on it and I had to file it off with Jewelers file. It would have destroyed the socket on my cars electrical connector if I didnt catch it.

Not for 2015 Focus Electric

This is solidly build product, well made. Assembly has adequate and easy to follow instructions. Unfortunately connectors on the 2015 Focus Electric hatchback is smaller that connectors on this assembly. Returning it now and looking for other products or solution. I am actually not planning to pull a trailer, instead I am using the hitch for a bicycle mount, and when bicycle mount is off, this assembly were intended to run a fancy hitch brake light. Otherwise it looks like my car has a tailpipe - when it is does not.

Likely ordered the wrong one, but made it work.

Had to re-splice half the wires to get it to function properly. Not sure if I ordered the wrong set, but it did not work correctly on a 2016 Focus. We were on a time crunch, so I had to rewire it to make it function. The connectors fit just fine, but did not activate the correct lights. If I didn't need something set up right away, I would have returned it. Build quality looked fine. Running the wire from the front to the rear of the vehicle was pain.

Very easy install. Instructions were good

Very easy install. Instructions were good. Most challenging part was running positive wire to the battery. A YouTube video gave enough insight that I already knew how I would run the wire. Very pleased.

Easy installation. Works flawlessly with my kayak trailer. Much easier than splicing.

Easy install works great

This is well worth the cash over buying a universal fit harness. The install was easy and the directions were adequate. I will continue to use these products on my future vehicles.
