Love this rod for ice fishing

Great feeling rod.. but had a broken tip on arrival.

This little rod feels great in hand. Very light, the reel is smooth with nice anti-reverse. Rod itself has some nice backbone with great sensitivity. Very disappointed with the packaging. The box was undamaged but the lack of packaging inside is probably what allowed the rod to bounce around and break. Ended up returning it since the price went up and Amazon would not replace with exact item. (They would only let me exchange with shorter variants)You can't really tell from the picture but that tip is all splintered up.. seems like fiberglass.

Smashed Rod Tip

Good afternoon, one of the rod tips was smashed on my 13 FISHING - Wicked Ice Hornet - Spinning Ice Fishing Combos. The box they came in has no damage but the tip is smashed flat. I really like the product and will be happy to write a great review upon a fix for this issue.

Broken on Arrival

The rod looks and feels amazing unfortunately it arrived broken.

DO NOT BUY - uncomfortable and overpriced

I've never felt a more uncomfortable fishing rod. This rod has the lock-on real system which is common but they have an uncomfortable nut exposed threads. This is with the factory included reel Wicked Ice Hornet. The rest of the handle is carbon fiber for feel and nice foam but all of that is defeated when you're having to hold a hard plastic nut and exposed threads. What an absolute joke of product and clearly not field tested by actual users. AVOID
