Fantastic espresso

I have tried a couple different types of espresso beans in this machine and they have been exceptionally good. When I first got the machine I put regular coffee beans through it and the result was terrible, so get espresso beans. I like that it holds a good amount of water and whole beans, neither needs to be refilled very often. When they do need attention, you get a message on the machine and on your phone if it is connected. When you press power it always runs a "rinsing" sequence first to clear the lines, then you are ready to make whatever type of coffee you want. The espresso and Americano that it makes are excellent. I have the "mycup" set up to make a double shot of espresso so I can make iced lattes. TL;DR easy to use and makes great espresso

Great investment

I have worked in coffee for the last 7 plus years and this machine is worth every penny so far. Have had for about a week. I haven’t set up through the app portion of it so I can’t comment on that, but I can say that the steam wand produces good pressure and allows you to get different textures such a latte or cappuccino. Shots pull smoothly. It’s easy to set up. The one thing I wish was better was the temperature of the hot water, I do find that my drinks cool down faster then I would like.

It’s amazing!

I’ve been using this now for a few months and absolutely love it. For the money, it makes a great Americano (what I typically drink). 4 stars, because it’s not as customizable as I’d hoped. The “My Cup” only offers a couple of choices. It’s not like you can dial in exactly what you want.

Super convenient and small footprint.

For what it does this thing is TINY. I had a manual espresso set up with a breville duo pro and baratza settle grinder. The manual process became more of a PITA when I had to go back into the office. So I tried out this automatic machine, and after a week sold the manual set up. Now, the espresso isn't quite as good as the manual set up (a little less strong) and you can't fiddle with the settings nearly as much. That said, it's WAY more convenient. In the morning I can turn it on and it does the rinse cycle while I'm getting lunch together. Then I hit "my cup" and run a double while I keep getting lunch set up. Then I have it run a hot water cycle (which is timed), finish wrapping up lunch. And boom I got an extra 5-10 minutes of my morning back. Maybe 5-10 minutes of the morning doesn't seem like much, but it feels like forever. Small notes: a double or triple brews singles back to back. The steam wand is a panerello. You can program your shots using the app and the app works well.

Great espresso machine

Love the look and usability of this machine. Espresso tastes strong and the grind size is customizable. I wish the My Cup feature was more customizable - you have four options to choose from (Short espresso, double, triple, or Red Eye) and it'd be nice to be able to customize say, for a double shot Americano. The app is easy to use and I didn't find setup to be a hassle - on the contrary, it was fairly simple.

Flashy, sleek look

Fairly simple to set up and connect with WiFi. You have to download a app, but it’s pretty easy. While the machine works well and looks really beautiful, they “do not recommend using dark roast beans” because of the higher oil content on the beans’ outer surface. I find this extremely inconvenient… what kind of espresso machine doesn’t take espresso roast? And the “customizable “ options aren’t that great, largest volume of coffee is 5oz. My previous machine was a ‘Delonghi’ which could fill up my 14oz travel mug with an americano style drink. Best thing about this machine is: it’s gorgeous, compact and fits well on a counter and you can program a drink (within limits).
