Malfunction of product

The media could not be loaded. The skillet cooker’s heat control knob doesn’t respond to pushing it to start the skillet. It’s worthless and I suggest to avoid buying it at all costs

Very non-stick, a few difficulties getting started but works well now, love the even precise heating

I was able to cook pancakes on this with no oil and they did not stick at all. However I did have some issues getting started. It was almost impossible to attach the handles because first you have to remove the screws and they were in so tight they were tearing up my Phillips head screwdriver. Finally my husband was able to remove them with a different Phillips screwdriver but he said it was very difficult. Attaching the handles was the only assembly required. When I first tried cooking with this, it worked fine for about 10 minutes and then stopped heating although the display looked like it was still heating. The problem was that the heating control had somehow come slightly separated from the device even though visually it looked fine. Once I had securely seated the heat control device I was finally able to cook my pancakes properly. I love the precise heat control and even heating. The pancakes were perfectly browned. However I have discovered that the heat control is very easily dislodged slightly from the pan. I have to be sure that it is properly seated and that I do not move the pan at all while cooking. The pan gives off a lot of heat in all directions (this is typical) so don;t be like me an put a glass of cool water nearby unless you don't mind it heating up. Still, now that I know its quirks, this is a nice pan.

Terrific multicooker! Very useful. Great temperature control.

First of all – to turn this beautiful multi-cooker on, press the end of the end of the heat control unit. To turn it off, press the end of the heat control unit twice. I don’t know why people are confused about that. It’s right in the instructions. It’s very simple. I am thrilled with this multi-cooker. It has become my go-to cooker for large meals. It’s a combination of a huge frying pan and a griddle and a multi-cooker and a yogurt maker and a dough proofer and a roaster and so on. This thing is really large, measuring about 15 inches across the inside bottom and16 inches across the top, not counting the handles. The 3-inch-tall sides are high enough to use as a pot but low enough that I can use a spatula to flip eggs and pancakes and such. The heat control is very easy to use. You can control the temperature very precisely. Unlike other cookers I own, you can adjust the temperature by one degree from 100 degrees up to 205 degrees, then by five degrees between 205 and 400 degrees. It’s easy to use to keep cooked food warm at the desired temperature. The temperature display is very easy to read. You can use the 100-degree setting to proof dough for bread or rolls. The unit heats up very quickly. The temperature seems consistent across the bottom of the pot. I haven’t noticed any spots being hotter or colder than others. The nonstick is good. It comes with a rack that you can use for steaming and sous vide. There is a glass lid with a removeable silicone trim. A recipe book is included. I can make incredible things in this wonderful, big multi-cooker. With such a large cooking surface, things can be spread out and cook very quickly. I diced two huge onions and was able to start browning them, then I pushed them over to one side to finish cooking and added three large burgers to the other side. It was fantastic, and so quick and easy. I also made things like a pound of bacon and eggs, all in one pan. Another day I browned two pounds of ground beef, then made a sauce and threw in vegetables and such and simmered the whole thing for half an hour on low heat. I haven’t don’t any baking or such yet. To wash, just unhook the power connection. Then the pan can go in the sink to handwash. My only criticism is that the tempered-glass lid has a silicone edging that can be removed for cleaning. There is no metal rim around the glass lid, so I don’t know if I can use the lid without the silicone edging. I do that on another pan I have when I cook something smelly so the silicone doesn’t absorb the odors and have to be aired afterwards.

Unable to plug cord into skillet did not fit

This electric skillet is very beautifully, looks durable and you would’ve able to cook a variety of items, however I could never get my plug to go into the skillet. I was also trying to unscrew the screws to put the handles on, they are screw are so tight I will have to get an electric screw driver to get them off. I only got one screw off so far. I have been using a variety of electric skillets for years, this is the first time I could not get a plug to go into a skillet. For the price it should float in with ease. UPDATE: I was finally able to get the cord into the skillet and fry some chicken very nicely, however, it stopped frying for a minute and I had to restart it and it started back. It may have issues with the cord. I have not been able to get the handles on. When it works it works very nicely.

Love this multi cooker

I am addicted to kitchen appliances and this has just been added to my collection. I used it to make bacon in the morning and French toast. Then in the evening I made some pan seared chicken breast and they were just so juicy and tender. I love this multi cooker. It’s perfect for a big family or to cook for friends. The digital heat control is awesome because you can set your temperature yourself and they are not preset. There is so much you can do with this. I definitely recommend it.

06854 Tuxedo™ digital precision skillet multi-cooker

An appliance at this price point should not need assembly. That ridiculous cost cutting move especially so poorly exceuted where the screws are next to impossible to take out is a minor flaw overall, but it kind of speaks to the experience of using this. It's just not as simple as it should be, and nothing is as nice as it should be fore the price point. I don't recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. Very nice and easy to clean skillet gets hot really fast so that helps with the cooking time my favorite part is that it cuts of by itself so you will not overcook or burn your food up
