The best boppy for plus sized mamas

I love this pillow so much!! I had the traditional boppy and struggled every feeding to get comfortable when nursing my baby as it would not stay in place due to the size of my belly. The only way the regular boppy somewhat worked for us was to put it like a C around my waist (not going across the front of me as intended) and I always had to sit up right due to this since the bulky pillow was around on my back. If this sounds like what you’re going through… buy this pillow! This boppy is soft material and stuffing inside allowing you to maneuver it and find a comfortable position. It takes a couple sessions at first to find what works but once you do it’s THE BEST. You will be able to sit back on the couch or chair and nurse in a relaxed position. Ive even taken this with me on road trips and nursed with it in the car at rest stops. I cut the elastic fabric that is intended to tie around your waist cus they just got in the way and I didn’t find them necessary. Sooo glad I found this pillow it made nursing way more enjoyable!!

Better than full size boppy and mybreastfriend

The shape and size makes it easy to both support the baby and hold them at a slight incline to avoid reflux. It’s also better for people who are not very tall since it’s thickness is less than full boppy. The ribbon tie is useless and in fact it gets in the way. The asymmetry requires you to switch the pillow side like the baby, so you can’t really do that easily with it tied up Would be nice to have a removable cover. It’s a hassle to wash it fully after each spit up !! Functionally it’s 5 stars, just needs a few thoughtful tweaks based on real usage

Good travel nursing pillow

So I have not used the pillow yet however I have used the regular boppy, the my breast friend and other various nursing support pillows. The main thing I was looking for in this pillow was something smaller to bring to the hospital with me for nursing support or just holding baby after my C-section. I do think that this pillow will be great for that it’s smaller and lightweight. Definitely easier to travel with!! I like the fact that it has a tie to stay in place. The tie is a very stretchy material. I’m giving birth in 3 days so I’ll update my review after I actually get to use the product!!!

Convenient

I decided to go with the travel boppy over the original as I thought it would be handier and would take along on trips. It takes a bit of finagling/getting use to as it is shaped differently. It’s not the easiest to position around a postpartum belly. I also haven’t actually used it in any travel aspect because I’d rather not have the added object and just use a pillow or nothing wherever we are. It’s convenient and doesn’t take up much space but also not as easy to just use as the original boppi.

Best travel pillow for feeding baby!

I purchased this to take while flying with my baby to make breastfeeding easier since the original boppy is too big to travel with. Best purchase! Made the airplane/airport so much more comfortable; not only to feed baby but just holding her and having something to rest our arms on. The strap made it convenient to tie onto bags. I used it the entire trip and have continued to use it every day. I use it when I feed her in the living room rather than carrying my original boppy around (that one stays in the bedroom). And I always take it in the car when we dare to venture out; makes feeding much easier in the car as well! I don’t really use the tie around straps regularly but again they were nice for traveling to tie on bags. Would definitely recommend to those flying. It would be helpful for bottle feeding too. Again just nice to have something to help support baby on the airplane.

Convenient size for travel

I bought this so that I could breastfeed my daughter in the car a lot easier without crossing my legs or using a sweater to prop her up. It comes in a plastic zip-up cover that is actually handy to keep it clean when it's tossed around in the back seat until I need it, and it folds into a much smaller form than the regular Boppy does, which is another reason why I purchased it.

Good Travel Nursing Pillow

Great for nursing in the car and when out and about. A little big and hard to fit in a diaper bag, but can make it work when needed. Overall great option when in need of a nursing pillow on the go!

Does what it can.

Love the portability but I’ve never tried anything else, unless you count throw pillows and it’s better than those. Ties work for any size but the shape takes some skill to work with, especially if you have large breasts. Worth a try. Love the pattern but washing it looks like tricky work too.
