Great brushing tool

This is great for brushing my female german shepards (70lbs) belly and inner thighs. I actually feel okay about brushing over her n*pples with this, as it is not painful like a metal brush or even the one with the plastic tips on the ends. This is definitely not good for de-shedding, just removing tangles. I would repurchase this as it is excellent. I use a separate brush for getting rid of loose fur and deshedding as this is not for that.

This brush is useless. The other Furminator things are great, but this one just slid down her back without removing anything. Waste.

Love this!

My GSD has sensitive skin, and he loves this brush! I've used it both dry and wet (in the bath) and it works great! My only complaint is the finger handle likes to shift while you're using it which is uncomfortable, but that might just be an "operator error" lol.

Interesting tool for sensitive areas

Similar to a traditional brush but with softer rubber bristles that won't irritate sensitive areas. It still works fairly well on most fur types, and good for brushing around the eyes without discomfort. The bottom has 2 different types of bristle for use in different areas, and is easy to rotate with the unusual spring handle that can be positioned on different parts of the brush top. Overall, a really nice quality brush and something that I've wanted for a while for brushing my dog's face area, which needs constant brushing but I'm always worried about hard bristles hurting her. Good product, and I've been using Furminator brushes and hair removers for years with no issues. Quality products that last a long time. I also use this on my long haired tabby cat to help smooth out tangled hair with minimal discomfort. Also removes loose hair which is a bonus.

Fraudulent photo

The primary image shown was taken directly from the packaging. However, it is not a photograph; it is a fake image. The middle teeth are nowhere near as long as shown. The product design is terrible. First off, it’s worthless for any animal with long hair. Just forget it! Secondly, the design is messed up. It’s arched, seeming to fit the curvature of your hand. But if held that way, you can’t use it on your pet, because the big teeth go in the opposite direction. The diagram indicates it’s for gentle smoothing, but how? This thing makes no sense at all! I should have heeded the bad reviews. Oh well. Thank goodness for Amazon’s guarantee! In the future, I won’t even consider buying anything made by FURminator. Any company making garbage this bad won’t get another penny from my pocket.

Love Furminator!

I have a 60lb Black Mouth Cur who seems to shed constantly - there is always hair everywhere. I have tried a multitude of brushes over the years and my Furminator has by far been the best. My mother-in-law actually just gave us a new one as a present to keep at her house so we don't have to pack it with us (he needs constant brushing it seems like). Although we love our regular Furminator, we don't use it around sensitive areas and hadn't ever found a solution that worked overly well.... until seeing this! I was thrilled to see this become available and ordered immediately. My dog loves being brushed so this was easy to add into our routine, he's happy to just lay there for it. This was a win for us - additional brushing for him and more hair I'm able to remove (less on my floor). All in all, I would recommend this to a friend/ family member along with all other Furminator products I've ordered - they're great!

Good grip, adjustable brush

This is a nice brush for daily grooming. I like that the location of the finger grip is adjustable so you can easily switch between the three different bristle configurations. At first I thought the whole brush looked huge and unwieldly, but once I took it out of the box and got the hang of it, I found that it was easy to grip. I'm left-handed and a lot of tools like this are explicitly designed for right-handed people. This tool seems to have a symmetrical design so it works just as well left-handed as it does right-handed. All in all, it's nice brush with a sturdy design.
