Slips out

I wanted to love them, but my hair just slips right out of them. I originally got them to keep my bangs out of my face but these just don’t work for me. But they feel great and seem sturdy.

Size "Mini" are very tiny

I purchased the "mini" size thinking they were the small size I needed, and boy are they small! Notice the clip size next to my thumb in the photo. The mini clip is the same size as my thumb nail! I'm going to keep them because I have medium-thick, wavy hair and these clips help to pull up little pieces I need to keep out of my face, but I'm going back to purchase the "small" clips because that's what size I really wanted. In general the Goodie brand is a decent quality, but as with all plastic clips the individual claws will snap off over time with use.

VERY Mini! Description needs to better describe the size!

These are good for just clipping up a part of my hair, but none of the listings for these make the sizes easy to really know. These are SMALL... like really small. I cannot put up more than MAYBE half of my hair. If you are looking for small ones, then these are great quality. I sometimes just clip the front of my hair up on top of my head and this will work great for that. However, I can't put my hair up in a bun or flip it up from the back and let it hang over like I do with my favorite ones. I have now purchased just about every clip available on here and can say that the pictures for all of these absolutely do NOT help with figuring out the size. If my pictures can be uploaded, then hopefully you can see the differences in each clip. The one on the very right is the mini clip from this listing. You can see the huge difference in the "mini" (labeled as small clip on the packaging) versus the other "medium" ones. The very left one has the rubber pieces on the inside and not the hair band while the other three have the hair band. I have always had long hair so I needed one particular type of clip. However, I cut most of my hair off this year to donate to Locks of Love which ended up changing how I can use my clips. Both of these styles seem to be of use for my hair because I have what I figure is "regular" hair... not super fine but not thick. So, for me, the main concern is the size. The one on the left was not listed as a specific size, but is very close to the 1/4 claws with the hair bands in them. Not exactly the same size, though, and is slightly larger. The 2nd one in from the left is the 1/2 claws and say medium on the packaging but are extremely large in my opinion. Probably great for keeping up a bun or something similar but not even CLOSE to the same size as the 1/4 claws (third one from the left) that are also called medium on the packaging. Then the last one is the mini claw which is referred to as small. NONE of these clips were available in my local store anymore and they are all much higher quality than the cheap ones that they have available. I will never buy from my local store again because of the bad quality. None of these are immune to breakage and in the past I've had issues with some of them breaking fast. However, all of the ones that I received have been decent quality and aside from size issues... I like them.

Cute and worth the price

I have fine hair and these are very easy to use and they work well for fine here. I would purchase these if you’re looking to get your bangs out of your eyes or just a little decorative piece for your hair.

I finally found the perfect medium sized clip that I've been searching for!!!

Small mini clips

Multipurpose

It's been handy having so many of these clips because I am also using them for supporting my orchids (which have been growing a lot recently!) The quality is fine.

Incredibly smaller than anticipated

For what I was looking for, these clips were really tiny. They are about the size of a thumbtack. I took the measurements into account when buying, finding it odd how difficult it was a to find small clips I like. But, when I took these out of the box, I knew immediately I wouldn't be using them for myself. I needed similar, but, bigger. And not the flattened curve these are. I needed a rounded barrel to encompass the hair. I found these to be truly challenging to try to use. Incredibly small. They may work for someone else, who is used to dealing with such small clips, but, they were not for me.

It's quite good but beware the little teeth

Grip strength is good. Warning though, the inside has little teeth to make it grip into the hair, which the larger sizes don't have. Definitely works great for that purpose, though not for why I bought them (wanted to clip up my hair when wet to add volume and prevent cowlicks). I've changed my review because although these clips didn't do what I originally wanted, they are excellent and durable clips I've ended up using regularly for other styling.

Cute clip but not strong enough

They are cute little clips that come in a dark greyish black and very dark brown. They hold up small amounts of hair, but without the strong grip I was hoping for. Haven’t had them long enough to speak about their durability. For those with Asian straight thin-medium thickness hair, these clips may not provide the hold needed - I find I am readjusting and reclipping my hair quite often.

Good clips

These clips are very sturdy but unfortunately, they don’t seem to hold my hair in too well, it just kinda slides down over time. That said, I usually break these pretty quickly and these ones are still going after a couple of months, so that’s something.
