Little noisy but works great

I don’t like that it makes so much noise. It’s a little hard to clean in all those little grooves. Super sturdy compared to others I have purchased. I would recommend for bakers cleans the side walls well.

Way sturdier that the plastic ones!

This beater is definitely sturdier than the plastic one I purchased only 5 months ago. Now it is broken! This one is metal and although it is way more expensive, I expect it to last for years.

THE BEST AVAILABLE FOR THE SERIOUS BAKER AND YOUR KITCHENAID MIXER

Really cleans the sides of the bowl. Also handles large amounts of batter very well. Slightly noisy, took off 1 star for that.

Finally one compatible with my KitchenAid model

I have been waiting for YEARS for a blade like this to be manufactured for the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus and I am so happy with this purchase. The blade fits perfectly (also has instruction on how to adjust it if necessary), it feels well made, I love that it's metal and it comes in a few different colors. I chose the black to go with my matte gray mixer. This is a game changer for me in that it really cuts out what could be several minutes of having to stop the mixer, lower the bowl, scrape the bowl, raise the bowl, lather, rinse, repeat throughout the mixing process. The only downside I can think of is that it does seem to throw dry ingredients out of the bowl a little bit even on the lowest speed, but it's not a deal breaker at all to me. If you're tired of scraping the bowl and have this model of mixer, I recommend trying this blade. I bet you'll love it.

My husband bought this for me for Christmas. It really liked that it stated it is a Pennsylvanian company, however, that is a little misleading. The product is designed in Pennsylvania, but made in Taiwan. It mixes the batter very quickly and thoroughly. It can sometimes be a little tricky to get it twisted onto the mixer head, I'm not sure why. Thus far, I am very pleased with the product. My only concern is that the rubber may crack or pull away from the blade. Fingers crossed that it is a quality product that lasts.

This BEATER beats the rest!! Makes me HAPPY!!!

I have broken the plastic version of this beater a couple of times. Was concerned about the fit as my 5 Quart is more than 20 years old. Fits great and SO happy it's made of metal. Great information available also on this site to aid in making correct choice. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!

OMG OMG! It really fits my Costco-purchased, 6-qt., lift-bowl mixer!

I have loved my KitchenAid Professional 6000 HD mixer since I bought it several years ago at Costco. The standard extra KitchenAid purchased-separately attachments all fit (pasta maker, meat grinder, etc.), but the narrower, deeper, tulip-shaped mixing bowl has been the bane of my existence because KitchenAid itself doesn’t even make or sell extra mixer attachments that came with the original equipment. When flexible edge mixer blade attachments became available from all sorts of manufacturers for the other models of KitchenAid mixers, the Professional 6000 HD model sold by Costco was left out … even KitchenAid couldn’t help. I have been looking for a flexible edge mixing blade for years, and I have returned many from my previous attempts to order a mixer blade that will fit. Today, I received this product from Amazon, and immediately ran to my mixer to see if it would fit. IT FITS! It was confusing when I ordered it, because it keeps saying that it only fits 5 quart capacity models, but the Professional 6000 HD is a 6 quart capacity model, and it clearly says this on the mixer itself. Nevertheless, I took a chance, and this is the one for you if you have a Pro 6000 series mixer. I am baking four loaves of bread as I write this, and can attest that the mixer blade is a perfect fit, and the flexible edge leaves no residue stuck on the sides of the mixing bowl. It saves me a great deal of time, because there is no need to continue stopping the mixture to scrape down the sides of the bowl to make sure everything is mixed evenly. The metal construction is sturdy and high-quality, and I couldn’t recommend this mixing paddle more! It’s perfect, and I finally have a product that I have been looking for, for years!

Why Did I Wait So Long!

Pues se ve y se siente muy bueno, pero queda flojo.

Estábamos por estrenar esta aspa mi esposa y yo en nuestra Pro 7qt, cuando nos dimos cuenta que quedaba floja, probamos otras aspas chinas que también adquirimos y estas otras no quedaban flojas, quedaban igual de bien que las originales. Decisión... devolverla, posiblemente hubiera funcionado bien, pero mejor nos ahorramos la pena de que más adelante se aflojara el cabezal de la batidora haciendo que incluso los originales pudieran quedar flojos, así que mejor nos ahorramos la posible pena. Lo siento Amy, nos convenció bastante tu video en youtube con esta aspa, pero pues no se hizo.
