Superior performance - by DESIGN!

It cost a bit more than others. The handle is comfortable to the fit. The blades are unequal in length, curved a bit outward and tapered! Inserts and twists with greater ease than any other cork pull I have ever used (many). It arrived is a handsome box (unexpected) that is suitable to gift wrap (an idea). I'm extremely pleased that I bought this.

versus the Hundreds/Thousands that were shelled out for a great bottle of wine

This is for those who know about elder wines! (A clue I learned from a MS) After time, the sugar in the wine makes the cork stick to the bottle. This is the practicle way to take a cork out of an aging wine. Let's say from 2005 back. It is worth the dime spent, versus the Hundreds/Thousands that were shelled out for a great bottle of wine! Sturdy

This has been my first foray into the world of the ah-so and after pushing the first cork into the bottle, I'm getting the hang of it. It definitely has a sturdy construction. I think met of my issues thus far have been on my side rather than the product side.

Great cork remover

For years I've used a Rabbit corkscrew. And I love the Rabbit, but this device is even easier to use. Corks are removed more effortlessly and smoothly. It's great for longer corks and broken corks. Plus it's a bit unexpected, so it adds a nice flare when with friends. Cheaper models will probably do the same thing, but this one has a nice heft. I like it.

Awesome for old wines.....

Found a review online, and ordered these. I really like Peugeot products, as they're well made from quality materials, and they LAST!! This works especially well on bottles with older corks - no more ripping to cork to pieces and having small "debris" in our wine. Great purchase and seriously happy with it.

Took some practice, but it's a gorgeous tool.

I bought this corkscrew for a family member as a gift. I had never seen one used, and had never seen one in person prior to ordering this. The packaging is great quality, and you can tell that the company specializes in tools such as this. The corkscrew itself has a good weight to it, and the prongs seem to have a good flexibility, without being flimsy. It took a couple of bottles of wine to get the hang of using this corkscrew, and it pulls the cork out beautifully when you get the hang of it. That said, we weren't complaining about the practice it took to get it right... made for an unintentional, fun wine tasting night. I would purchase this again for any wine lover who has older bottles in their collection. It's perfect for pulling out corks delicately.
