Back saver

We use this for our dogs to access their crate on the back of our golf car. After dropping our heavier dog (40 lb) when getting her out of the crate we knew we had to make better arrangements. Both our dogs took to using it right away. It’s very lightweight but seems very sturdy when in use. I do have to assist by holding their halter when they are going up as it is a little slippery on a steeper incline.

Purchased Used "Like New" Trixie Dog Ramp

Purchased Used "Like New" Dog Ramp There is NO Way this Trixie Dog Ramp was "Like New." Amazon driver stated they handed it to customer- they DID NOT . Based on the destruction of the box we would have refused it. Plastic parts of the hinges and screws fell out as the box was opened and there was no way to jerry-rig the ramp even for One use. We really needed this ramp for our elderly dog. Aside from the ramp being used, we would not purchase Trixie Dog Ramps again. The hinge design is too flimsy, the ramp itself is too slick. The trifold idea was good, though.

Works for my small dog

My pup is 12 lbs, so no problem, but I wouldn't think it would hold up long to a dog over say 35lbs. It's flexible, thin and lightweight. All those things that make if perfect for us, make it not so great for larger dogs. Also, as others have stated, it is slippery. Even with the rubber pads, the plastic area in between them is too large for small paws to get purchase.

Not very useful for my dog.

This product is too short to provide a comfortable slop when I used it for my small dog to climb up to a sofa of 2 ft high. I am using it with additional cushions etc to adjust the slope so that he can climb but still he is hesitant to use it. Probably good for big dogs that are not scarred from taking some adventures.

bought this so my small dog could get up onto bed and in car. It appears to be sturdy product only my dog will not go near it. tried coaxing him with treats, toys etc. no use he will not go near it at all. will be returning it

Too steep and slippery

Bought this for my cat who had a shoulder injury and was insistent on getting onto my bed. The height of my footboard is roughly the height of the trunk of a car -- it was pretty steep. There were non-slip stripes on the ramp but the area between those was incredibly slippery. Might work for a dog with big paws, otherwise seems a little dangerous.

Rampa pieghevole Trixie, per cani medio-piccoli

Buon prodotto della Trixie per aiutare a salire in macchina e/o nel bagagliaio i nostri amici a 4 zampe che hanno difficoltà a saltare oppure non possono fare salti per problemi articolari. Vi consiglio di prendere bene le misure della vs. auto perché per i grandi SUV questa rampa potrebbe essere un po’ ripida e risultare scomoda. Inoltre non mi sento di consigliarla a chi ha un cane di peso oltre i 15/18 kg, perché tende ad “ondeggiare” parecchio. Comodissimo il fatto che si possa piegare in 3 e diventare una valigetta. Unica pecca: presa tramite Amazon Warehouse come “ottime condizioni”, il prodotto è arrivato senza 2 viti e quindi la rampa si è smontata al primo utilizzo. Ovviamente poco male, perché è bastato andare in ferramenta e con 20cent. è tornata come nuova (però l’avrei segnalato nella descrizione dell’usato). Spedizione Amazon velocissima come sempre.

die Maße sind etwas grösser als erwartet im eingeklappten Zustand!!!

Mein Hund hat nach dreimaligen üben, mit flach auf dem Boden gelegter Rampe, es dann im vierten Versuch direkt in den Kofferraum geschafft. Mit am Halsband halten und Leckerlie vor der Schnute ging es recht einfach. Mit 7 Jahren kommt er nun in ein Alter wo wir uns doch nichts zerren oder vertreten möchten! Leider ist die Rampe im zusammengeklappten Zustand doch immer noch Recht groß. Lässte sich aber gut handhaben und auch gut ausklappen und einklappen. Die Beschichtung verhindert auch das rutschen auch im nassen Zustand!!!

Es cómoda

Es bastante buena de altura material y como se pliega , la única pega que le veo es que necesitaría más freno en las patas del suelo ya que se desliza con el peso del perro y le tenemos que poner un tope, al igual donde apoya en el maletero, le hemos tenido que poner una cuerda para q no se suelte y se caiga, ya que el apoyo es débil y corto , por lo demás bien.

Sehr klein zu packen aber etwas rutschig.

Die Rampe lässt sich gut zusammenfalten und passt wie ein kleiner Koffer in den Fußraum hinter den Fahrer- oder Beifahrersitz. Mit dem Tragegriff auch gut zu transportieren. Das Zusammenklappen ist in der Mitte etwas schwergängig nachdem der Hund darübergelaufen ist. Meinen 16Kg schweren Hund hält die Rampe gut aus. Bei meinem Kombi mit niedriger Ladekante ist die Steigung ok. Bei einem SUV dürfte sie aber zu steil sein. Die Rampe ist zwar mit einem leichten Antirutschbelag ausgestattet. Dieser ist aber nicht ausreichend. Mein Hund kommt darauf ins Rutschen.

Idee gut, Umsetzung mangelhaft!

Idee ist wirklich toll. Funktioniert! ABER: Billig, schlechte Qualität, Plastik ist schon beim Auspacken abgebrochen. Lausig! Schade, dass man solche Ideen mit mangelnder Qualität zerstört!
