This heat gun is amazing. I use it on my car, and it’s fantastic for small areas or large areas. Good product and well made. I have never had a problem with it.

Perfect for wiring projects

I use this for heat shrink tubing on wiring projects for boats, cars, etc. Great small size, fast heat up, and I like the stand up feature. Not for large jobs like paint removal, etc.

The right tool for heat shrink connections

I bought this specifically for heat shrink connectors and tubing. It allows you to focus the heat on the connector which is important when you don’t want to damage anything close to where you are making the repair. It is plenty hot enough to do the job. But it doesn’t over heat the connection like i have done with a full size heat gun.

Not what I needed

Takes way to long to get hot enough to work with what I’m doing. I need it to keep plastic hot while molding it. By the time it gets hit enough the plastic sets. I can’t use it for my purposes.

Really great for heat embossing

I purchased this after it was recommended and I love it. It has two heat settings too and a little stand so it can stand when not in use.

Excellent heat gun for the electronics workbench.

Purchased for application of heat shrink tubing, re-flow of hot glue, and preheating segments of low-quality circuit board when de-soldering to avoid damage to the already lousy board. Excellent brand, I've had a Wagner heat gun holstered next to every fume hood I've ever worked in throughout my career in chemistry. This miniature heat gun is a bit more versatile, with the ability to grip from more than one location and the wire stand for both "hands-free" use and cooling after the fact. High output on setting 'II', and a much more mild heat stream on setting 'I'. Included accessories left a bit to be desired, mainly because the last thing needed for such a small heat stream is to make it more diffuse; in fact, an accessory to more focus the stream of hot air would have been a better item. The indirect heating accessory seemed like an alright idea, but I honestly have no idea for intended use. However, the branded silicone mat was worth the extra cost on its own, if not for utility, than simply for the fact that I like the Wagner brand. With any category of item, no matter how obscure, having a brand with a name you can trust is always a plus. If you're in need of a small heat gun for a workspace intended for small or 'lighter' work, this would be an excellent choice.

Worked great until the 2yr warranty ran out.

Great little heat gun that I use for heat shrink boat fittings. This one lasted two years and three months of intermittent use. Probably died within the warranty but I haven’t used it in the past six months. Of course when I grabbed it for a quick repair it didn’t work. Checked inside for obvious damage or loose wires but all looked good. Ordered a new one and it’s fine. Still worth it even if you have to replace it every couple of years.
