Fast & Easy NOT!

I bought this pattern because it was similar to one I had made for my granddaughter. I wanted to make the new baby a dress to match. It looks easy and I have sewn for years. The way they have you construct the lined bodice to the dress is something I have never seen done. It was so hard to do I almost gave up. Dresses can be lined much easier than this method. The finished product is so cute but the process is not Fast & Easy.

Very nice design. Not an easy sew.

The instructions are written for an advanced sewer and are lacking in detail. It's NOT an Easy Sew pattern. The B5017 instructions have no reminders to layer and notch curves and such and are just not thorough like the B5624.

Great product.

This pattern is for the most part easy to manage. I have never read a pattern before so I had to have a little help but that's just me. The outfits are super cute and once I got the hang of it, I really like it and have used it more than once.

Product was not new

The packaging was damaged and was taped shut. The size guide and directions are on the packaging so this is a problem.

An enjoyable work.

I made my Grandaughter this set. I found it easy except for joining shoulder seams. You need to read pattern and imagine what needs to happen before sewing. Very pleased with outcome.
